No, filk isn't a rude word.
It's another name for a parody song, where you take some poor defenceless popular song, then change the lyrics for your own twisted evil purposes - nyah ha ha!

Be warned - going any further into this site may ruin the original versions of these songs for you forever (and you may draw some very strange conclusions about my record collection!). Use of any tune here is not really due to a lack of musical imagination on my part, rather a tribute to the catchiness of the original melody (and the skill of the composers).
Use (or misuse) of any film or tv show is meant as harmless fun and not as any infringement on the relevant copyright.
