Lexx Locations
LEXX LOCATIONS
Lexx was mainly shot in Halifax, Nova Scotia (as well as in Germany, and in Season 4, pretty much everywhere - including Newfoundland ). But in Season 4, you get to see a fair bit of Halifax onscreen, often standing in for other places. So here's a brief walking tour of Lexx locations.
Let's start at Cornwallis Park. The Westin Nova Scotian is cunningly disguised as the King Tutt hotel in Viva Lexx Vegas. It can also be seen in the background of Standown, when Kai and Xev hitch a lift on the moth (unless there's a copy of the statue of Cornwallis in Washington, that is).

And over the road, there's an Atlantic Superstore - looks like the one the ATF raided in Bad Carrot.

Heading north on Barrington Street, we come to DalTech. This can be seen in Fluff Daddy, when the businessman goes into an alleyway before being eaten by Xev. If you look over the road, you can see the alleyway itself.

Further along Barrington Street is the Old Burying Ground. The lion statue from Fluff Daddy is here - it's the Welsford Parker monument to the Crimean War.

Still further along, the tall brown building - home to the Salter Street office. Those arched windows look like the ones in the tv executive's office in Xevivor.

At the Discovery Centre, turn left onto Sackville Street - it's steep! Carry on past Argyle Street (home of the Shoe, the Seahorse, and Breakers - all Lexxian haunts)...

... to another Fluff Daddy location - the adult video store where Stan found a LooLoo video.

And over the road - the theatre where the living Kai gave his unique interpretation of Henry V (not a theatre, sadly - think it's now owned by the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design - the Alliance Atlantis building).

Back downhill on Sackville, onto Upper Water Street, and the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic - where the Harbour Hopper is usually parked. The museum appeared in Fluff Daddy as Huffertainment's studio - in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Onto the boardwalk, and a wharf which is the one in Fluff Daddy where Stan phoned Prince. No phone box (that was a prop) but in the background you can see George's Island (setting for a Salter Street movie).

Carry on right until Sackville Landing - not a location, but possibly the inspiration for the toilet tongue? This statue is called the Wave, and at one point had several Lexxian e-mail addys scrawled on it.

Follow the boardwalk along to Terminal Road - and Electropolis. Yes, the home of Lexx - which also bears a striking resemblance to Longbore's compound in Texx Lexx.
